Zayn Malik is filming an explosive new video in Manchester, England for his follow-up single to hit Pillowtalk.
The former One Direction bandmember was seen on location in Manchester on Wednesday (09Mar16) for his latest music video.
Zayn and his 30-strong film crew headed to the city to shoot the highly-anticipated follow-up single to his debut single Pillowtalk, reports British newspaper the Manchester Evening News.
In another departure from his manicured boy band image, the video is reported to have a gritty, urban theme, with a house in the area set to be used as a 'drugs den'.
Footage shot on the set revealed a huge lighting rig has been set up along a street, and a car has been wrecked after it performed doughnuts (a circular driving manoeuvre) in the road before it's spectacularly set on fire.
No doubt local fans are thrilled to have Zayn on their doorstep.
The 23-year-old singer has also premiered another song from his debut solo album titled Like I Would.
Earlier this week Zayn released the tracklisting for the album, Mind of Mine.Titles include 'lUcOzAdE', 'fOoL fOr YoU' and 'rEaR vIeW'. US R&B singer Kehlani appears on the track 'wRoNg'. It also features sultry break-up tune 'It's You', which he wrote about former love Perrie Edwards of Little Mix, and recently performed the song live on The Tonight Show with Stephen Colbert.
Zayn's album is due for release on March 25 and his first single Pillowtalk went to Number One in the UK and US earlier this year.
