Young Thug postpones show after airport altercation

Rapper Young Thug had to postpone a show in Seattle, Washington on Wednesday night (07Dec16) after missing his flight due to an airport dispute.

The hip-hop star took to Instagram to share footage of himself arguing with two black airline employees, who he blasted as "buma** h**s" and then offered them $15,000 in cash to quit their jobs.

He also slammed the staff members as "peasants" and "ants".

The angry clip was captioned, "THIS IS Y I RIDE SIGNATURE JETS. THEY TRYIN TO MAKE ME MISS MY SHOW (sic)!!!"

It's not clear what exactly sparked the argument, but Young Thug was unable to board his flight and, as a result, had to cancel his Seattle performance, which has since been rescheduled for Monday (12Dec16).

The video post sparked a backlash online, with many criticizing the MC for his offensive outburst, which some suggested was racist.

The footage has since been deleted from his page, but he returned to Instagram on Thursday to share a series of video rants, in which he defended his airport actions, insisting he wasn't being racist and claiming the staff members had been rude towards him.
