Record-breaking rapper Wiz Khalifa has given new social video conversation platform Selfie.com a huge boost by alerting fans to the fact they will be able to check out his latest music using the app.

The hitmaker, who has spent 12 weeks at the top of the pop charts with his Furious 7 anthem See You Again, has become the first celebrity to officially attach himself to the new service, which allows users to stage video conversations publicly and privately, and urged his followers and friends on Twitter and Facebook to join him there for major exclusives.

He tweeted, "Download the app to find out when the music drops" and added on Facebook, "Finna (finally) drop some new music soon. Download selfie to find out when and where."

Wiz also posted a note on the Selfie.com app, which read: "Download this app right now, it’s called Selfie.com It lets you talk to me directly. Like I said, I’m going to be putting out some new music a little bit later. The only way to find out what, or when, or what it’s for, is to get it right here."
