Wiz Khalifa sues over cancelled concert

Wiz Khalifa has taken legal action against concert promoters over allegations they axed a planned performance at the last minute and failed to pay him.

The hip-hop star claims executives at It's My Party, Inc. booked him to play at George Mason University in Washington, D.C. in December (12), but cancelled the show without handing over his $85,000 fee.

Khalifa, who claims he was also entitled to a share of the gig's profits, is suing the company for $1 million, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports promoters have blamed poor ticket sales for the cancellation.
