Wiz Khalifa addresses Tyga's abrupt exit from tour

Wiz Khalifa has expressed his disappointment with fellow rapper Tyga for pulling out of his new North American tour, insisting it was a "wack move".

The hip-hop star invited Tyga to join him on the road for his third annual Under the Influence of Music trek in the spring (14), but the Rack City hitmaker withdrew from the live shows earlier this month (Jul14), just two weeks before the gigs kicked off in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Thursday (24Jul14).

Tyga took to his Twitter.com account to explain his reasons for his abrupt exit, claiming he wanted to use the time to finish up his album and work on a movie instead, but Khalifa has made it clear he is not interested in his excuses.

During an interview on Philadelphia radio station Power 99 on Friday (25Jul14), Khalifa revealed his pal had failed to break the news to him himself.

The Black and Yellow star explained, "He didn't tell me at all. His people was just like, 'Nah, we ain't gonna be on the tour (sic).'"

Khalifa hasn't spoken to Tyga since, but he insists there is no bad blood between the pair: "I'm sure he'll probably hear interviews of me saying that I thought that it was wack (bad) and he didn't reach out. I'm the type of person, I talk to people when I want to. We cool, that's the homie, and that was just a wack move (sic)."

He continued, "I felt like that (his excuse) was just corny. We're better than that. At the end of the day, you don't say 'album and a movie' to sound like you have something to do, 'cause I did my album before the tour and I'm shooting a movie once I get off tour and I got a son. So, at the end of the day, what do you want to do with your life?"

The Under the Influence of Music tour also features Rich Homie Quan and DJ Drama on the line-up.
