Country superstar Willie Nelson is set to be saluted by Grammy Awards bosses for his longstanding philanthropy efforts.

The veteran singer will be saluted as part of the Grammy Foundation Legacy Concert, where he will be recognized for his many charity endeavors, including founding the non-profit Farm Aid organization and annual benefit show with Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985.

Nelson joins rocker Bryan Adams and gay rights activists Cyndi Lauper and Melissa Etheridge among the honorees at the 2015 gig, dubbed, Lean On Me: A Celebration of Music and Philanthropy, which will take place at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles in the run up to the Grammy Awards in February (15).

Soul stars Robin Thicke and Aloe Blacc are also scheduled to perform.
