William Levy splits from longtime girlfriend

Latin hunk William Levy has split from his actress girlfriend Elizabeth Gutierrez after more than a decade of dating.

After months of speculation that couple has called it quits, a source tells People en Espanol that the Cuban actor/model and Gutierrez, who are parents to two young children.

While refusing to comment on the breakup directly, Levy tells the publication, "Any decision we take will be between us. All I ask for is respect for her sake and our children's."

Gutierrez also took to Twitter.com to address the report, telling her followers to "never regret anything, especially if you did it for love!"

Levy and Gutierrez met while co-starring in TV series Protagonistas de Novela 2, and had been together since 2003.
