Will Smith planning to drop stunts
Will Smith has vowed to scale back his stuntman work after feeling the effects of his daredevil antics on the set of Men In Black Iii.
The movie star was determined not to rely on a body double for action scenes in the sequel, but his advancing years left him suffering bumps and bruises, and he has decided to take it easier in future.
Will Smith tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, "I started off
thinking, 'I don't need a stuntman, I'm Will Smith! What do I need
a stuntman for?' Then I had to jump out of a second-storey window
and we did it eight or nine times... I remembered I am 42 and I'm
like, 'Can someone go get the stuntman from his trailer? We don't
need him but just get him to come out and watch the next one!'
"It takes longer to heal up after those things and I'm doing less
stunts in the future."
