Veronica Mars film is close to becoming a cast reunion

Director Rob Thomas is close to landing a dream Veronica Mars cast reunion for the film adaptation of the cult TV series after signing up Napoleon Dynamite star Tina Majorino.
The actress will reprise her role as Cindy Mackenzie in the upcoming project, which Thomas funded using crowdsourcing Internet site Kickstarter.com.
In an email to fans who donated to the campaign, Thomas announced
that Amanda Noret, Sam Huntington and Daran Norris will also be
reprising their characters and joining Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars)
when filming begins next week (beg17Jun13).
