Usher's cash giveaway will stall in U.K.

Usher will abandon his onstage trick of handing out cash to audience members when he takes his latest tour to the U.K. because it would be too dangerous to pelt them with coins.

The R&B star is taking his The UR Experience tour overseas next year (15) and is due to perform seven concerts in the U.K. in March (15).

He has wowed crowds in the U.S. by throwing out dollar bills as part of the performance, but he faces cutting out the generous gesture when he arrives in Britain because of the national currency.

Usher tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, "It's pretty much the same show as in the U.S. but it might be a bit difficult throwing money into the audience because you have £1 coins and you can't really throw coins!"
