Usher has filed legal documents asking a judge to dismiss his ex-wife's demand for full custody of their kids.
The R&B star's former partner Tameka Raymond filed paperwork in Georgia last month (Dec11) demanding a change to their current arrangements, in which the former couple share joint physical custody of their two children.
Raymond accused the singer of failing in his parental duties by allegedly neglecting to ask her permission before travelling with the kids outside the state and before hiring nannies. She asked for full custody and an increase in her child support payments.
Usher has now responded to the filing and has lodged his own legal papers asking a judge to deny Raymond's request, insisting her allegations are false, according to TMZ.com.
The website reports a trial date has been set for 27 February (12).
