Usher proves death reports are false

Usher has reached out to fans online to assure them than sick rumours suggesting he had been killed in a car crash are wrong.

Gossip about the Confessions hitmaker's wellbeing began spreading across the internet this week (begs09Apr12) with a hoax article from Global Associated News alleging he was involved in a fatal accident on a highway in New Mexico.

The report stated, "Usher died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body."

But Usher has taken to Twitter.com prove the claims are false.

The singer posted a topless photo of himself after a work out session online on Tuesday (10Apr12) to show he is alive and well, alongside the caption, "Never scared, never dead...Just #Lookin 4 myself (sic)."

Dance producer/DJ David Guetta was 'killed off' in the exact same way last month (Mar12). That death report also proved to be fake.
