Top designers share wedding dress ideas for Lady Gaga

Engaged pop superstar Lady Gaga has been given plenty of options for her wedding day style after fashion gurus including Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Donna Karan offered up custom designs for her upcoming nuptials as part of a magazine special.

The Born This Way hitmaker is set to marry actor Taylor Kinney later this year (15) and 30 top couturiers have offered up their services by sharing sketches of their creations with Women's Wear Daily editors for a new article titled Bride of the Decade.

Gaga admits she has yet to start searching for the perfect wedding gown, but she will be dressing for her beau.

She says, "It will be totally for Taylor. It's all about my man. I haven't really thought about anything specific yet but whatever it is, it will be totally for him."

The singer has been given plenty to consider thanks to publication bosses, who have collected 30 ideas from a slew of designers.

Chanel boss Lagerfeld submitted two looks, one for a private wedding and another for a more public ceremony, while Karan offered up a gold and white mermaid style strapless gown for the superstar to wear as she walks down the aisle.

Mara Hoffman came up with a rose covered white lace dress with colourful rose veil and Monique Lhuillier shared ideas for a blush-coloured mermaid-style gown with an organza skirt.

Other designs came from Alexander Wang for Balenciaga, Alberta Ferretti, Viktor & Rolf and Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein Collection.

Gaga expressed her gratitude for all of the fashion submissions on Twitter.com on Wednesday (20May15), writing, "Thanku (sic) to all the very special&generous designers who designed over 30 wedding dresses 4 (sic) the most important day of my life. I'm speechless."

She then shared a link to the story with fans, adding, "Read the article titled 'Bride of The Decade'-how flattering! By Taylor Harris... Thank u, this meant the world to me!"

The couple became engaged on Valentine's Day (14Feb15).
