Tina Fey facing lawsuit over lack of workers' compensation insurance
Actress Tina Fey has been hit with a $79,000 judgement from New York State officials over allegations she failed to pay workers' compensation insurance for more than a year.
Workers' Compensation Board chiefs filed the lawsuit against the Mean Girls star in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan on 20 March (14) in relation to her duties as an employer, although details about the number of employees involved in the case have not been disclosed.
However, the Big Apple address listed on the court documents
matches the details for her production firm Little Stranger
Inc.
Fey reportedly did not obtain the required insurance for her staff
from 20 November, 2012 to 2 February this year (14), according to

The star has yet to respond to the suit.
