Two men and a woman have been charged with breaching the peace for allegedly throwing beer bottles and shouting at a security guard outside Taylor Swift's Rhode Island home.

The trio was arrested outside the singer's beachfront property on Sunday (15Jun14). Editors of local newspaper The Westerly Sun name them as Connecticut residents Michael Horrigan, 29, Tristan Kading, 28, and Emily Kading, 26.

All three were taken to the Westerly police station, where they were charged with misdemeanour disorderly conduct. They were later released and ordered to appear in court at a later date. The trio was also instructed not to trespass on Swift's property.

Tristan Kading told editors at TMZ.com they have no issue with the Love Story hitmaker and their behaviour got out of hand while they were drinking. He also denies cursing at the security guard.

Swift was not home at the time of the incident.
