Thief breaks into Kacey Musgraves' car

Singer Kacey Musgraves was targetted by a thief on Monday (0Jan16) when her parked car was broken into in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Follow Your Arrow country star took to Twitter.com to vent about the theft, revealing the robber smashed one of the car's windows and got away with a pair of boots from her new footwear line with Texas company Lucchese and Charlotte Olympia.

"Guess the a**bag who broke into my car tonight is gonna look pretty good in the @Lucchese1883 & @charlottes_web boots they stole," she wrote.

"Happened across from (concert venue) @3rdandLindsley a bit after 9:30 pm. Broke my window. Stole my new shoes! Still calculating what all else they took (sic)."

"Someone had expensive taste and cheap standards," Kacey continued, before joking about using the crime as music inspiration. "...next up: a song about stolen boots. Not sure if there's anything more country."
