The Voice judges sing Hallelujah for school massacre victims
The judges of The Voice came together to remember the victims of the Connecticut school massacre by singing a poignant rendition of Hallelujah during the opening of the talent show on Monday night (17Dec12).
Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine led this season's finalists in a moving version of the classic Leonard Cohen song at the beginning of the latest episode.
They performed the track in a darkened studio surrounded by
candles, with each member of the group holding a placard emblazoned
with the name and age of each of the 26 people who lost their lives
at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown on Friday (14Dec12).
The show's host Carson Daly and Social Media Correspondent
Christina Milian also joined in the performance.
Suspected gunman Adam Lanza allegedly killed 20 children and six
staff members, and is also believed to have killed his own mother
earlier on Friday - before turning the firearm on himself.
