The Lego Movie continues to build on its success after landing a third week at the top of the national box office.

The family-friendly movie has made another $31.5 million over the weekend - more than the totals for new releases 3 Days to Kill and Pompeii combined.

Kevin Costner's new spy thriller 3 Days to Kill comes in second with a disappointing $12.3 million and director Paul W.S. Anderson's Pompeii has flopped with a dismal $10 million.

RoboCop and The Monuments Men round out the new top five.
