Country star Taylor Swift has urged her pop peers to make their every word and action "count" - because their behaviour impacts millions of young fans across the world.
The Love Story hitmaker, 21, insists she makes a conscious effort to set a good example to her followers every day and she'd like to see others in her position take responsibility and do the same.
In a pre-taped interview for news show 60 Minutes, she says, "I definitely think about a million people when I am getting dressed in the morning. That's just part of my life now. I think it's my responsibility to know it and to be conscious of it.
"The truth of it is that every singer out there with songs on the radio is raising the next generation - so make your words count."
The full interview will air on Sunday (20Nov11).
