Taylor Swift is building on her Reputation as a chart-topper after scoring a third consecutive week at number one on the albums countdown.

The pop superstar's Reputation release becomes the first to achieve the feat since May (17), when rapper Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. dominated the Billboard 200 countdown. Drake's More Life and The Weeknd's Starboy are the only two other albums which have spent three or more weeks in pole position in 2017.

Adele was the last female artist to remain in first place for at least three weeks - her 25 release enjoyed 10 non-consecutive stints at the top following its debut in December, 2015.

Back in this week's chart, a cappella group Pentatonix climb three spots to two with A Pentatonix Christmas, ahead of Sam Smith's The Thrill of It All at three.

Country icon Garth Brooks remains steady at four with The Anthology: Part I, The First Five Years, as Ed Sheeran rounds out the new top five with ÷ (Divide).
