Taylor Swift's rep blames media for arrest

A representative for Taylor Swift has blamed the media after a man was arrested outside the singer's home, suggesting publication of the pop star's residences encourages fans to pester her.

Police officers in Los Angeles held a man outside Taylor's mansion in the city on Wednesday (03Feb16) after he was spotted hanging around at the bottom of her driveway.

He was handcuffed and placed in a squad car, and he has since been transferred to a hospital for evaluation.

Following the incident, a rep for the Shake It Off singer has suggested the suspect found out where Taylor lives via reports of her personal life, telling WENN, "‎This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities. This, or potentially worse, is the end result."
