Taylor Swift joins Tom Hiddleston Down Under

Taylor Swift has tagged along with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston Down Under as he prepares to film the latest installment in the Thor franchise.

The Love Story hitmaker has had a whirlwind and worldwide romance with the British actor ever since their relationship went public last month (Jun16).

The new couple has spent time together in Nashville, Tennessee, Tom's native England, Rome, Italy, and most recently celebrated the Independence Day holiday at Taylor's Rhode Island retreat.

And on Thursday (07Jul16), the two were spotted jetting off from Rhode Island to Los Angeles, where they had a layover before flying to Sydney, Australia.

Tom and Taylor were photographed at the airport with linked arms as they walked towards the exit with snappers surrounding them.

Tom is in Australia to reprise his role as Loki in Thor: Rangnarok, opposite the titular superhero played by Chris Hemsworth, who began filming the new movie in his native Australia while Tom and Taylor were enjoying their Fourth of July in Rhode Island.

To mark the first day of shooting, Chris shared a video on Instagram of him arriving on set, saying in the clip, "Here we are, beginning of shooting of Thor 3 at the studios. Ready to train. Got my shake, got my shoes, and as requested, got my rollercoaster put in," as the camera pans to an amusement park in the background.

"It's just a little something of the perks of being Thor," he joked.

Thor: Ragnarok, which also sees the return of fellow Avenger Mark Ruffalo, as well as Idris Elba and Sir Anthony Hopkins, hits cinemas in November, 2017.
