Taylor Swift gets approval from Kennedy clan

Robert F. Kennedy's widow Ethel has fueled rumors her grandson is dating Taylor Swift after insisting the famous political clan would be "lucky" to have her in the family.

The Love Story hitmaker, 22, recently spent the Independence Day (04Jul12) holiday at the Kennedy family compound in Massachusetts, where she was snapped hanging out with her longtime friend, Arnold Schwarzenegger's teenage son Patrick, and his relatives.

She returned to the property last week (27Jul12) and was snapped enjoying a day out with Conor Kennedy.

Conor's famous grandmother has now revealed she is ecstatic about his blossoming relationship with the star, telling UsMagazine.com, "We should be so lucky (to have her in our family)."

She also revealed the pair met after his aunt, Rory, went to one of Taylor Swift's concerts: "Rory went to a concert of hers with her two little girls, and that's how that started."

Rory added, "That's how we first met Taylor Swift, and she's a great friend of all of ours. We love her. She's awesome."
