Taylor Swift closes tour with James Taylor
Taylor Swift wrapped up her Speak Now world tour in New York on Tuesday night (22Nov11) by duetting with James Taylor - the man who inspired her name.
The country star brought her shows to a close at Madison Square Garden and the final concert included a guest appearance from her pal Selena Gomez.
The Disney star took to Twitter.com after the show, posting a
picture of herself on stage with Swift alongside the words,
"Performing at Madison Square Garden with my best friend was a
highlight. Congratulations Taylor on Speak Now tour!! Love
you."
Swift also brought veteran musician Taylor onstage for a special
duet. She revealed her parents named her after Taylor and they
performed his hit track Fire and Rain, while the 63-year-old star
also played guitar on Swift's song Fifteen.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, the 21-year-old
singer writes, "I can't believe tonight is the last night of the
Speak Now Tour... I have so much to be thankful for this year. I'm
leaving New York, replaying this tour in my mind. I love you all so
much."
