Written by . Published: May 04 2015

Taylor Swift's touchdown at Japan's Narita International Airport on Sunday (03May15) reportedly caused chaos for travellers as hundreds of eager fans flooded the busy terminal.

The Blank Space hitmaker arrived in Asia ahead of her highly-anticipated 1989 world tour, which kicks off in Tokyo on Tuesday (05May15), but her overwhelming welcome reportedly caused a raft of problems, including long queues of traffic outside the airport.

Editors at TMZ.com also report that congestion inside the building caused two flights to be delayed.

Swift is set to play two nights at Japan's Tokyo Dome stadium on 5 and 6 May (15).
