Taylor Momsen celebrated her 16th birthday by performing a concert for a crowd of fans and her Gossip Girl co-stars.

The actress, who plays Jenny Humphrey on the hit TV series, took to the stage to sing with her rock band The Pretty Reckless at the Maritime Hotel in New York City on Tuesday (28Jul09) - two days after her actual birthday on the 26 July (09).Several members of the show's cast were in the audience to help celebrate the milestone - including Momsen's on-screen father Matthew Settle, Jessica Szohr, and hunks Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick.Momsen's jaw dropped as a two-tier cake was brought on stage, and the whole venue began singing Happy Birthday before she blew out the pink candles.
