Taylor Lautner dodges questions about co-star Kristen Stewart's kissing scandal

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has dodged questions about his co-star Kristen Stewart's summer (12) cheating scandal in a new magazine interview.

The 20 year old sat down with editors at Cosmopolitan for the publication's December (12) issue and when quizzed about his reaction to Stewart's "indiscretion" with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, which temporarily ended her relationship to boyfriend Robert Pattinson, Lautner opted to handle the situation with grace.

He said, "Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I'm always proud of her."

The journalist continued to press the issue, wondering if Lautner would ever take a disloyal lover back, and he added, "To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations, so I don't know...

"It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it's quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done."

Lautner isn't the only celebrity to defend Stewart in the wake of the media firestorm - her The Runaways co-star Dakota Fanning also recently added her support, saying, "Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that... It's like, 'Why do you think you are the authority to judge people's experiences?'"
