Rocker John Mayer has apologized to fans in Buenos Aires, Argentina after a heavy storm forced him to cut short an outdoor concert on Sunday night (29Oct17).
The Daughters hitmaker was more than halfway through his show at the Hippodromo de Palermo when the rain started pouring down, drenching the audience as strong winds threatened to wreck stage equipment.
John and his band had to wrap up the gig early, and the singer later took to Instagram to express his disappointment at how abruptly he had to end the final date of his The Search for Everything World Tour.
"Sorry Buenos Aires... please get home safe," he captioned a video clip of the rain lashing the stage structure. "I've never seen a storm come in that fast. Within ten seconds it went from perfect weather to total chaos. Hoping everyone is okay. So bummed we couldn't finish the show for you."
