Stars take to the catwalk to raise awareness of heart disease

Kelly Osbourne, Toni Braxton and Brenda Strong strutted their stuff on the catwalk for the annual Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show in New York on Wednesday (06Feb13).

The glamorous event was also a family affair as reality TV star Kris Jenner and her daughters Kendall and Kylie showed off their model skills at the Hammerstein Ballroom to open Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.

The stars donned stunning red designer evening gowns for the show, a partnership between designers and the National Institutes of Health's The Heart Truth campaign, to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

Osbourne took to her Twitter.com page to share her nerves with fans before the event but the Fashion Police presenter clearly managed to enjoy herself in the end.

She writes, "Really nervous about walking in TheRedDressShow tonight because... clearly I am not a model!!!", later adding, "Thank you so much RedDress I had an amazing time!"

Former Desperate Housewives star Strong adds, "Backstage and so happy to be part of thehearttruth!... So excited to be part of The Red Dress fashion show to launch fashion week in NYC."
