Sophie Monk files fresh complaint against obsessed fan
Australian actress Sophie Monk has filed a fresh complaint with police over allegations an obsessed fan has continued to contact her since harassment charges were filed against him last month (Dec13).
James McCabe, 30, was taken into custody Down Under in December (13) and charged with harassing the Date Movie star through social media.
However, Monk returned to a police station Sydney on Thursday
(16Jan14) to report fresh allegations against McCabe, claiming he
has attempted to contact herself and her family via Twitter.com
since the charges were filed.
Her parents have since moved out of their home over fears for their
safety.
She tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I just want this
to all be over. I chose this career and what comes with it but my
family didn't."
Monk's manager Alexander Reid adds, "Since Mr McCabe was charged he
has continued to use Twitter to attempt to contact Sophie -
specifically through her sister who has young kids. Sophie's
parents' address has been made available online and as a precaution
they have relocated temporarily."
