Music mogul Simon Cowell wants to have his body frozen after his death as "an insurance policy".
The star first voiced his interest in having his body preserved in liquid nitrogen in 2009, but quickly backtracked and claimed he was joking about the post-death procedure.
However, in a candid interview with GQ magazine, Simon Cowell insists he would like to be frozen, in the hope scientists can find a way to bring him back to life in the future.
He says, "It's an insurance policy. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But if it does work, I'll be happy. If it's possible - and I think it will be - why not have a second crack? Does that sound crazy?
"I think it's a good idea. I have a feeling that if I don't do it, I could regret it in 300 years."
