Simon Cowell heading back to The X Factor U.K.

Simon Cowell is returning to the British TV talent show he launched a decade ago.

The music mogul has announced he will be back among the judges for the 11th season of The X Factor later this year (14).

He says, "It's been three years since I last judged the competition and I'm excited to find a global superstar.

"The UK X Factor has set the benchmark in finding worldwide superstars over the years - including One Direction, Leona Lewis, Cher Lloyd, Olly Murs, JLS and Little Mix."

Cowell quit the U.K. show to concentrate on launching the talent search in the U.S.

It has not yet been revealed who will be joining Cowell.
