Kiss star Gene Simmons has married his longtime partner Shannon Tweed in a romantic ceremony in California.
The couple, which has been together for 28 years and has two grown-up children, exchanged vows they had written themselves during an outdoors ceremony at the Beverly Hills hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday (01Oct11) in front of 400 guests, including Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.
Simmons' KISS bandmate Paul Stanley was among the wedding party and the couple's daughter Sophie acted as maid of honor, according to People.com.
The publication reports Sophie, 19, also sang At Last by Etta James as the newlyweds took their first dance as man and wife.
