Sia has become the latest songwriter to find inspiration during a studio bathroom break.

The Chandelier hitmaker's partner Benny Blanco has revealed Sia came up with the idea for Camila Cabello's new song Crying In the Club while she was on the loo.

"Sia was on her way to the bathroom and goes, 'Oh my God, I have a really good idea for a song!'" Blanco tells Billboard. "When she came back, we did the song in 20 minutes."

Cabello recorded the track and released it on the five-month anniversary of her departure from Fifth Harmony.

Sia isn't the only star to come up with a tune in the studio bathroom - Isaac Hayes and David Porter famously came up with soul classic Hold On, I'm Coming during a loo break.

Porter tells WENN Hayes was tinkling at the studio piano trying to rush his songwriting partner from tinkling in the toilet at Stax in Memphis, Tennessee when David called out, "Hold on, I'm coming".

The track became a massive hit for Sam & Dave.
