SHIA LABEOUF TO RUN CHARITY MARATHON

Shia Labeouf has had praise heaped upon him by charity bosses after the actor pledged to run a marathon to raise money for veterans.

The Transformers star will test his fitness levels when he participates in the Los Angeles Marathon on 21 March (10) on behalf of the non-profit foundation U.S. VETS, which provides support for homeless military veterans.

U.S.VETS President Dwight Radcliff says, "We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. LaBeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf."

LaBeouf's dad Jeffrey fought in Vietnam and his paternal grandfather served in the Special Forces, reports E! Online.
