Shia LaBeouf raises money with pink leggings stunt

Actor Shia Labeouf has raised $10,000 for breast cancer research by wearing garish, pink leggings given to him by Ellen Degeneres.

The Transformers star, who runs 12 miles (19 kilometres) a day, was spotted sporting the skintight, bright pink leggings with 'Ellen For The Cure' emblazoned on the backside while out jogging in Los Angeles on Monday (13Sep14).

The unusual outfit is part of a deal with DeGeneres, who insisted that if he wore the trousers, bosses at cosmetics company Ulta Beauty would donate $10,000 to cancer research.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week (ends12Oct14), the host told the actor, "Since you like to wear leggings and you run every single day - if you wear these out and you're photographed and post a picture of it, Ulta Beauty will donate $10,000 towards breast cancer research."

LaBeouf agreed to the deal, and he treated onlookers to a clear view of the message on his trousers by bending over and displaying his backside.
