Troubled actor Shia Labeouf has filmed videos for a group of art students in Britain as part of their degree show.

The Transformers star recorded 36 videos to introduce the pieces by students on the Fine Art bachelor of arts (BA) course at Central Saint Martins college in London.

In one clip for the show, LaBeouf reads his favourite poem, The Laughing Heart by Charles Bukowski, while in another he is seen making strange sounds in front of a picture of butter and another clip shows him reading out song lyrics.

The show, titled Degree Show One, was streamed online this week (ends31May15).

LaBeouf has previously dabbled in the art world with a number of bizarre stunts, including walking the red carpet at a film festival with a paper bag over his head, sitting silently in a room with fans as part of an art installation, and streaming his heartbeat live on the Internet during the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Texas in March (15).
