Sherri Shepherd to make Broadway debut in Cinderella

Actress/TV host Sherri Shepherd is set to make her Broadway debut as the evil stepmother in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella.
The Precious actress will play Madame opposite Keke Palmer, who will also make her Broadway debut as the first African-American Cinderella on the Great White Way in September (14).
Shepherd follows in the footsteps of The Nanny star Fran Drescher,
who previously tackled the villainous role with pop singer Carly
Rae Jepsen starring as Cinderella earlier this year (14).
