Sharon Stone portrays Mrs. Robinson in one-night-only The Graduate reading

Sharon Stone stunned theatregoers in Los Angeles on Thursday night (17Apr14) by taking to the stage at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Bing Theater as The Graduate's seductress Mrs. Robinson.

The Basic Instinct star joined the cast of director Jason Reitman's final Film Independent Live Read of the season.

Reitman regularly hosts the starry get togethers and past performances have included Twilight's Taylor Lautner as Boogie Nights' Dirk Diggler and Jason Bateman as Bill Murray's character Phil Connors in a read of the Groundhog Day script.

But he had the biggest surprise for fans on Thursday, when Stone joined Jay Baruchel to recreate iconic movie moments featuring the late Anne Bancroft and Dustin Hoffman before an audience that included The Graduate screenwriter Buck Henry.
