Shakira puts exercise on hold to juggle work and motherhood

Pop superstar Shakira has temporarily abandoned her plan to regain her pre-baby figure because she is too busy juggling motherhood with her role as a mentor on The Voice to work out.


The Hips Don't Lie hitmaker managed to shed the bulk of her pregnancy pounds within weeks of giving birth to son Milan in January (13), thanks to the dance-based exercise Zumba, and she showed off her slimmed-down physique just two months later when she began filming The Voice.


However, the Colombian beauty admits she has yet to hit her target weight, and she fears it will be some time before she reaches her goal.


She tells Us Weekly magazine, "I'm still a few pounds over. But I do Zumba. Even during pregnancy, I did it almost until the end. But now, with the show, I don't have time. When I have a day off, I want to be with Milan."
