Shakira has postponed more of her tour dates as she continues to struggle with vocal issues.

The Hips Don't Lie singer was initially forced to cancel her kick-off show on Wednesday (08Nov17) in Cologne, Germany after doctors advised her to rest her strained vocals.

She was hoping to return to the stage on Friday (10Nov17) in Paris, France, but she has now announced that show, along with a few others, has been postponed.

The other affected dates include Shakira's Paris show on Saturday (11Nov17), Antwerp, Belgium on Sunday (12Nov17), and Amsterdam, Netherlands on Tuesday (14Nov17).

"For the last few days I've been very focused on recovery for my strained vocal cords," she writes in an Instagram post. "I really hoped to achieve this in time to be able to sing in Paris; however, and much to my chagrin, this hasn't been possible, and my doctors have advised me to continue on vocal rest for the time being."

Shakira is working to schedule new dates for fans, assuring them she will be back on stage as soon as possible.

"At the moment I'm concentrating on full recovery to be able to share with you all this show that I've so enjoyed preparing and of which I am very proud," she adds. "I'm anxious to get back on stage and be at 100% for all of you. Again, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you've shown me these days and which has helped keep me afloat in what has been a difficult time.

"God willing we will see each other soon for the kickoff of my tour. Sending all my love and gratitude, Shakira."

Shakira's next scheduled concert is currently set to take place in Montpellier, France on 16 November (17).
