Selena Gomez's stalker to go free

Written by . Published: November 17 2011

The man who Los Angeles police called a credible threat to actress/singer Selena Gomez is about to walk free from custody.

Thomas Brodnicki, who told a psychiatrist that he'd had conversations with God about killing Gomez, has had his felony stalking charge dismissed after a judge ruled there wasn't sufficient evidence that he intended to carry out his threat.

In court on Wednesday (16Nov11), prosecutors were told that Thomas Brodnicki would be held for just 30 minutes, to give them a chance to present sufficient evidence, according to TMZ.com.

He must still observe a civil restraining order against him, requiring him to stay away from Gomez, who is dating Justin Bieber.
