Selena Gomez honored with her own paint color

Pop star Selena Gomez has received an unlikely new honor - a paint color named after her hit album Revival.

The Come and Get It hitmaker has had her 2015 release celebrated with a rich shade of purple thanks to Casey and Jamie Davis, the co-founders of Portola Paints & Glazes, an eco-friendly company based in Los Angeles.

"Holler at my girl @selenagomez cause our new color Revival is lit," they wrote beside an Instagram photo of the paint being mixed by hand.

Selena is no stranger to the Davis brothers as Jamie is married to her trainer Amy Rosoff Davis, and she returned the love with her own snap on social media.

"Proud of my trainers (sic) husband cause he's goals for real @amyrosoffdavis @portolapaints," she captioned a picture of Jamie at work.

The shout out will no doubt help to raise the profile of the firm as Selena currently holds the title of the most followed person on Instagram, with 110 million fans on the photo-sharing app.
