Selena Gomez calls cops in false alarm burglary scare - report

Selena Gomez summoned police to her home on Sunday night (29Jun14) over fears an intruder was lurking inside the property, according to a report.

Editors at TMZ.com report the singer returned to her house in Calabasas, California shortly before midnight and called the emergency services after finding the back door flung wide open.

Cops are said to have searched the property but found no one inside.

The Come & Get It hitmaker has been plagued by unwanted visits in recent months after an intruder was arrested outside her home on 30 March (14). Che Cruz returned to the property days later, just hours after his release from jail.

He was sentenced to 30 days in a mental health facility in June (14) and ordered to stay 200 yards away from the pop star.
