Late Mexican pop superstar Selena Quintanilla is set to become the latest celebrity to be brought back from the dead in hologram form.
The Tejano music icon's image will grace the stage as part of a new Selena The One project, her sister Suzette has confirmed to Billboard.com.
In a post on the late singer's official Facebook page, the hologram is described as a "walking, talking, singing, and dancing, digital embodiment" of the star, and it will appear in "new songs and videos" and "collaborate with current hit artists".
There are also plans to take a show on the road with the hologram in 2018.
Quintanilla was shot and killed by Yolanda Saldívar, the president of her fan club, on 31 March, 1995.
