Selana Gomez threat has two stalking convictions
A man ordered to stay away from terrified actress/singer Selena Gomez has a history of stalking, according to authorities in his native Illinois.
Gomez has been granted a restraining order against Thomas Brodnicki after the 46 year old allegedly told his psychiatrist he was going to kill the star after having conversations with God about her.
The teenager, who is dating Justin Bieber, and her lawyer Blair
Berk claimed Brodnicki was picked up for mental evaluation last
month (Sep11) after he allegedly threatened to "scratch people's
eyes out on the street", and now the full details of his criminal
past have been unveiled.
According to the Los Angeles Times, he was arrested in 2003 on
charges that he stalked a waitress at a Des Plaines, Illinois
restaurant. Brodnicki was eventually convicted in 2008 and
sentenced to three years in prison, but only after he was found
unfit to stand trial in 2007 and re-committed to a mental health
facility.
Just three months after his sentencing, he was arrested again in
Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and charged with cyberstalking a
college student.
