Sean 'Diddy' Combs has seen off competition from fellow rapper Jay-Z to be named the world's wealthiest hip-hop artist.
The star topped Forbes magazine's 2013 list of the genre's richest acts with an estimated net worth of around $580 million, which has been bolstered by business ventures including a deal with Ciroc vodka.
The sum puts him ahead of the Big Pimpin' hitmaker, who scored second place on the Forbes Five list with a fortune of approximately $475 million, and Dr. Dre at three with $350 million.
The top five is rounded out by music mogul Bryan 'Birdman' Williams ($150 million) and 50 Cent ($125 million) at four and five respectively. The line-up remains unchanged from 2012's edition.
