Scotty McCreery sued by former manager

Country star Scotty Mccreery has been hit with a lawsuit from his former manager.

Todd Cassetty claims he has not been paid for his services since they began working together last October (12), even though the American Idol star allegedly orally agreed to give the businessman 15 per cent of his revenue.

The two parted ways in April (13) without ever having put their financial agreement in writing, and now the boss of Cassetty Entertainment has taken legal action against the 19 year old in Davidson County, Tennessee seeking unspecified actual, consequential and punitive damages.

The documents were filed last week (begs01Jul13) and an excerpt obtained by the Nashville Post reads, "Celebrities should be required to pay their bills, just like anyone else."
