Scarlett Johansson is to make her directorial debut on a movie adaptation of a Truman Capote novella.
The actress will step behind the camera to bring Summer Crossing to the big screen, according to Variety.
Summer Crossing, believed to be Capote's first book, was thought to
be lost for more than 50 years but was eventually published in
2005.
It tells the story of a teenage girl living in New York after World
War II and her struggle to break away from her family and discover
her own identity.
