Scarlett Johansson loses out at Jackman auction

Scarlett Johansson was left disappointed after losing a bidding war for Hugh Jackman's T-shirt following a performance of his Broadway show on Tuesday night (20Dec11).

The X-Men star is currently performing his one-man musical in New York and he has been staging regular post-show auctions to raise money for charity.

Johansson was in the audience on Tuesday, along with fellow Hollywood star Uma Thurman, and she joined in the bidding when Jackman offered up his T-shirt.

The Lost In Translation star climbed onstage with the actor and put down $3,000 in a bid to claim the garment, according to the New York Post's Page Six column.

However, the actress lost out as the shirt sold for $30,000.
